Welcome to the openMINDS documentation!

openMINDS is a metadata framework for linked data. The framework comprises:

Applying the openMINDS framework to your own data collection, requires you to design a graph representation (linked data model) of your data. What this means and how to approach this challenge is described in Getting started.

Note

This project is under active development. As an open-source project community contributions are highly appreciated (cf. contribution guidelines).

Funding and acknowledgements

The framework currently receives funding from the European Union’s Research and Innovation Program Horizon Europe under Grant Agreement No. 101147319 (EBRAINS 2.0 project).

The framework also receives support from the Helmholtz International BigBrain Analytics and Learning Laboratory (HIBALL).

Collaboration partners

openMINDS is closely collaborating with the InterLex Project of the SciCrunch Data and Resource Infrastructure and the KnowledgeSpace hosted by the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF).
